Gaggia Perfect Crema disc allows pre-infusion and builds extraction pressure to 9 Bars.

Reduced extraction time eliminates burnt bitter tasting and over extracted  espresso.

Special instructions for use of crema disc: When using ground coffee, use coarser grind like the grain of table salt. Do not tamp. Just level the cup with coffee grounds and lock the Portafilter into the group ring. Pull the handle all the way to the right. Turn espresso hot water switch on. Crema disc delays extraction (pre-infusion) and builds extraction pressure to 9 bars. Always pull shots of 2-Oz. only. Use a shot glass to see color of espresso and thickness of crema.
